In my internship I want to help out Sasol, a local NGO in Kenya. I will assist in the writing of project proposals aimed at the sustainable use of resources to improve the life of people in Kenya. How exciting it would be to go there for 6 months!
After graduation I hope to start my career as a junior project manager for projects sponsored by the World Health Organization. For instance projects aimed at eradicating diseases like Cholera and Polio.
With 10 years of working experience, I want to be a senior project manager. Managing projects from start to finish in the area of Public Health. I can hardly wait!
Mission of Renée, second year student Public Health
During my internship I want to join a project like Dance4Life. Dance4Life is a project from STOP AIDS NOW. It is aimed at involving young people in reducing HIV and Aids. During 5 months I would help them to implement the Dance4Life concept in as many countries as possible around the world.
After graduation I think I’d like to become assistant of a Media and Communications Officer at an NGO, say Oxfam Novib or War Child. I would contribute to the image of Oxfam Novib in the media, and could fully apply all I have learned during my study; from English writing skills to applying new media angles.
With 10 years of working experience, I hope to be a full-blown project manager. I work for an NGO, like Oxfam Novib or maybe the EU. I write my own project proposals and manage the project from A to Z. What I do matters and is very fulfilling. I make a difference!
Mission of Seth, first year student Public Health.
In my internship I want to join a true multinational company like Unilever or Philips and work with these companies to take responsibility in preserving the earth for generations to come. Philips for instance, has a programme called EcoVision. This programme is aimed at developing ‘green products’ and investing in green innovations. Part Of EcoVision is to convince Philips’ employees to work in an environmentally friendly way. I can definitely see myself working on that!
Upon graduation I hope to start as junior project manager at a commercial company in their centre for Corporate Social responsibility. A company that combines Profit with care for People and Planet, like C&A.
With 10 years work experience, I will start my own consultancy firm. I will advise large companies on how to really be socially responsible and integrate the concept of People, Planet and Profit in their day-to-day actions.
